In addition to the Day of Mobile coming up on March 6th in Chicago
there is also a healthy local chapter of CocoaHeads there.

You can find their site here:

Many of the members are seasoned developers. They have had events at
the Apple Store on Michigan Ave. I highly recommend attending one of
these events. Taking Megabus or the train is an easy trip.

To keep up with their events you can keep an eye on their calendar.

For those of you who are in the Milwaukee area we can add these events
to the Milwaukee iPhone Meetup to arrange a group to head down for
these events.

There is a regular meetup on the 2nd Tuesday of each month and and
occasionally there is an NSCoder event.

In March we will have another meetup in Milwaukee. I am discussing
potential topics and I think we may be talking about general
application architecture. Features like composition, delegation,
notifications and MVC will be a part of what will likely be a broad
topic. We can review specific code examples with sample code from
Apple as well as the PureMVC port to Objective-C.

When should we have our regular meetup? For 2010 I believe these
events will be largely code oriented as we all learn as we go. We have
a few strong local developers who will be able to help us get up to
speed.

Please let me know what nights you would like to have this event?
Tuesdays? Later in the month or earlier?
