my strengths are in the creative end of the web, and i'm still very
much learning about iphone development. i would love to work along
side, or even just "look over the shoulder" of an iphone app project
at first. i'm also interested in networking with developers/
programmers so i can pass along pieces of projects, or even whole
projects, that i pick up... since i know i don't have the energy or
ambition to learn the development side :)

Java/J2EE developer for 8+ years turned mobile. Now doing a lot of
iPhone dev (5 apps complete, 2 in the App Store) with Drupal/.NET JSON
services on the backend, branching out into Android, MIDP/Blackberry
and hopefully some Clojure.

I am a mixed technologist.  Ranging from Java, .NET, C/C++, Perl, PHP, and now Objective-C.  I have worked with mobile development for Window Mobile, Android, and now iPhone.  Mobile is the new platform.  My day job is primarily .NET these days as it pays the bills.  I would prefer to  be doing all mobile iPhone and Android long term though.

I'm was a reasonably good C programmer that switched to PHP and Perl when I discovered how much less code one needs to write to be productive. It looks like Objective C and the iPhone have really improved things there. I do some web development for a growing collection of customers and would like to be able to add iPhone apps to my list of services.
A couple of similar minded people and I are considering making our little side job an LLC and our full time jobs. I'm also a pre-med student and firefighter/EMT. The iPhone has some potential to help some inefficiencies in that arena as well if departments will adopt the new technology. I'm interested in the obvious benefits of iphone/web service integration but love apps like Ocarina as well. Its funny- no one ever gets a compsci degree thinking "Oh yeah I wanna write glue code for a cardboard box factory when I grow up." But in wisconny if you wanna be a programmer its banks or boxes...the iPhone fixes that.

I'm Mason. Though I'm not in the midwest anymore, I still lurk on this
list, because I know and love some of you. My interests are varied.
iPhone development fits in there somewhere.
