The following tasks will need to be completed in advance of the iMADE
event and I am looking for volunteers to take pieces that can be
completed in the next couple of weeks.

For the User Experience Design and Graphic Design tasks I will work
with Mike, Brian, Tracy, Romke and Justin to put together the
interface, styling and graphics for the application and work out the
agenda and lab tutorials for the related sessions on these topics.

You can read a description of what we will be building here.

Below is a link to the coding tasks. These tasks are the building
blocks and may only take a few hours to complete.

It is unfortunate that you cannot directly add an event to the iPhone
calendar, but we can use the web services provided by Google and Yahoo
to add events to their calendar systems. There are actually a few
options here. You can add an .ics feed to your Google calendar and use
Google Sync to bring it down to your iPhone automatically. So
indirectly we can get events onto our iPhone calendars, as well as
make it easy to see from Google Calendar and any application that can
subscribe to an .ics feed.

In the last task (#15) it would be great to authenticate with an
existing account on Twitter or Facebook. Joe Hewitt works for Facebook
and has produced a great module that we can drop into this iPhone app
to connect to Facebook with very little effort.

This appears to be a clear winner to provide this application with a
way to log into an existing account.

If you would like take on these tasks please claim one of them and use
this code project for source control to share you contributes with
everyone. If you need an account to get commit access to the project,
please send me your Google email address so that I can add you to the
list.
