2023 Road Season Schedule and Announcement of New Conference Directors

Greetings everyone,

Road season is just around the corner, and your new conference co-directors have confirmed the following schedule:

March 4 - IU Bloomington
March 26 - Notre Dame
April 1/2 - University of Michigan - Ann Arbor
April 8 - Marian Midwest Cycling Classic
April 15/16 - Purdue University
April 22/23 - Lindenwood University

May 5-7 - Collegiate Road Nationals, Albuquerque, NM

Additionally, for those interested, Collegiate BMX Nationals will be March 10/11 in Bakersfield, CA.

I am also able to introduce our new conference co-directors - Ryan McLoughlin and Paul Swinand!  I have copied them on this email, and will let each of them provide an introduction.

I'll still be assisting in some aspects of the transition this spring, and will go to at least one event as an official.  It has been my pleasure to serve as your conference director these past few years, and I look forward to seeing where the conference goes in the next few.

Hi Everyone! A quick update to the calendar, there will be collegiate events at Tour of St. Louis on March 18/19 that will count for both conference points and nationals qualifying starts.

Additionally - Paul and I would like to have an initial roundtable meeting with the conference on Monday Feb 20th 6-7pm Central (7-8pm Eastern). Meeting invite link below (MS Teams) and I will send an invite to the conf. listserv shortly. Please let me know if this time doesn't work for you!

Goal would be to introduce ourselves, see how everyone's doing, where we can help out immediately, as well as start an open discussion on the future of the conference - long term initiatives, where we can help, etc. I'll be sharing this out on socials later, but feel free to invite anyone from the conference that would be interested in joining - I'd like to have representation from everyone in the conference if possible!
