Hello MWPARC Members!

We are seeking nominations for the Co-chair and Advisory Board positions throughout the month of August! Please see descriptions below for an overview of the responsibilities for each position. For more information, please look at the attached Roles and Responsibilities documents for each position.

The election will be held in early September.

Co-chair responsibilities overview:

• Co-chairs serve 2-year terms
• Organize annual meeting
• Coordinate content on the webpage
• Serve as voting members of National PARC's Joint National Steering Committee (JNSC)
• Report regional activities and project progress to the JNSC
• Report National PARC activities and project progress to regional working group members
• Represent PARC at regional and local conferences and events

Advisory board member responsibilities overview:

• Advisory board members serve 2-year terms
• Attend monthly board meetings (zoom)
• Provide advice and ideas about activities, meeting planning, and directions or projects for Co-chairs to consider
• Attend the annual meeting
• Advocate for MWPARC and help connect the organization with additional partners
• Recruit potential future advisory board members
