NAPA (National Prosperity AssociationBong Thom dot Com - the best source for Cambodian) is a Cambodian non-governmental organization, registered in Ministry of Interior at January 15, 1997,  work for Poor people in the remote areas live in dignity have food security, good health, better standard of living and work together to promote and protect their rights, democracy, gender equality, and control over the community development works in their respective areas. NAPA has implemented the project Health System Strengthening (HSS) in 11 health centers, Kong Pisey and Kampong Speu Operational District Kampong Speu Province that supported by GFR9-MoH through KHANA. NAPA is seeking 1 qualified candidate to fill the positions (full time):

 

Position:

1-      Project Coordinator of HSS                    (Salary 220-270 USD)

 

Location: Kampong Speu Province.

 

Requirements:  

 

• At least Medical/Bachelor or equivalent experiences
• Have some experiences in working with Health Service, Commune Councilors and Government.
• Have some experiences in working on advocacy
• Conduct exchange visits for sharing lesson learn and best practices
• Annual project review at NAPA level
• Provide opportunities for key commune officials to visit projects and programs of NGOs or other service providers
• Train Village health support group (VHSG) on health education and basic knowledge of health services
• Conduct Health Center Management Committee (HCMC) Quarterly meetings
• Conduct Village Health Support Group (VHSG) quarterly meeting
• Support referral to access health services at HC
• Support the development of structures and referral mechanisms between Commune Councils, Health Centers and the community, such as Village Health Volunteer system, Home Based Care, self-help groups, etc.
• Support the HCMC to implement health related activities identified as priorities in the Commune Development Plan (communities health education)
• Knowledge of primary health
• Monthly, Quarterly, Annual planning/Reporting for project activity
• Conduct echo training to VHSG, Health staffs
• Computer (Ms. word, power point, excel and internet email)
