VETERANS GREEN CORPS OPPORTUNITIES!
WHAT:
The Veterans Conservation Corps completes conservation projects on public lands throughout Colorado and the Four Corners area. Projects focus on trail construction and maintenance in non-remote and remote locations. These projects are located on public lands throughout the San Luis Valley and Southwestern Colorado.
WHEN:
Crew Leader Program April 19th – August 20th
Crew Member Program May 30th – August 20th
Opportunities also available in the fall
WHY:
· Weekly stipend ($275/week)
· Educational Award upon completion
· Live/work outside
· Camping equipment, food and transportation are provided while at work
· Environmental, outdoor and leadership skills
· Opportunity to work with other veterans

WHO:
Recent era Veterans (OIF, OEF) who are interested in pursuing educational and professional development in resource management and other outdoor related fields. Applicants must have served in the U.S. Armed Forces and have a DD214
