Good morning everyone and my apologies

Good Morning,

 

I hope this Thursday morning is getting off to a good start for everyone.  I wanted to apologize for the odd message that was sent out to this mailing list. I finally noticed that my Outlook had "dumped" this email account from the list of accounts it was linked to and I had to re-enter the settings. The test message sent out to ensure everything was done correctly found it's way to ALL of you. I apologize for that bit of spamming.

 

BUT since I have all of your attention I want to take the opportunity to give people the option to opt out of this list. The Military Veterans Organization at UCLA is slowly starting to reassert its own identity as a student after a few years of being overshadowed by the UCLA Veterans Resource Office. In the near future we hopetol be sending out more social and community service/interaction events and activities through this channel while the Veterans Resource Office will focus on making sure that Veterans and Dependents successfuly integrate into the academic community at UCLA as well as help establish trails for Veterans to be competitive applicants to UCLA (Undergrad and Graduate).

 

If you are still interested in being kept in the loop as to what is going on with the MVO and Veteran community at UCLA you are welcome to stay on this list. If you have moved on please let us knoe and we will remove you as soon as we can and we wish you the best of luck. And rememeber you are ALWAYS welcome to be put back on the list in the future.

PS: Included is one of several pics we have taken to update the VRO website. In the future we may be looking for mor Veterans to participate in a larger group photo.  Please keep that in mind as we would welcome UCLA Veteran Alumni in it as well!
