Hi everyone, sorry for the late e-mail. This week we are meeting at our house. 12 Primrose, AV, from 7-9. I think Carla said she would bring snacks (thank you!!).

I hope everyone was able to make it to church on Sunday. It was a great message about prayer and the power of prayer. Our focus this week will be around the message. This week we are studying the Mission prong of our commitment. So be prepared to talk about how your involvement in RHMV partnerships is going. If you have not yet decided on which partnership is for you we can spend some time discussing this. Just to recap the partenerships are: El Torro Park, Mission Hospital, Safe Famlies, Linda Vista Elementary, Meals on Wheels and Los Alisos Jr High.

Here are some questions you can think about ahead of time that we will be discussing.

What stood out in all the stories Brian told? [Zinzendorf 24/7 prayer, 5 college students (Haystack prayer service), Jim Elliot]

What missional stories do you know or have personally experienced?

How has it impacted your faith – your prayer life?

Finally, some business items. Kent and Brittany have found another group that meets on Mondays and this works better for them so please remove them from any distributon lists you have. Secondly, Eric and I would like to request to meet a half hour earlier. This would put our group meeting from 6:30-8:30. With our little ones it makes a big difference for us. Can we please discuss for a few minutes? It would be helpful for us but if it means someone not being able to make it then attendance would take precidence for me. So I would like to see if it will work. Mark and April- please just e-mail me if this does not work.
