Mike:

I've added this info to our website.

MVADA has stepped up our goals for 2010. As you know we currently run a wheelchair sports program in Riverside that has been in existence since 1998. The invitation is still open for you and your staff to come play against our kids. The address is 805 Old Harshman Rd. Our kids play every Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:30. From these programs we can build teams that would compete on a national level. We are working on a plan to start a junior wheelchair basketball team based in the Dayton area that will include kids in and around Dayton, Cincinnati, and Columbus. This team will compete in the National Wheelchair Basketball Association starting the 2010-11 season. We are also working on a plan to start a spring/summer program that will include softball and tennis.

Some high school athletes have earned varsity letters from their schools and gone on to earn athletic scholarships from major university throughout the nation.

We are also looking for anyone interested in participating in our spring/summer program which will start in April. These activities will include wheelchair baseball and wheelchair tennis.

If someone you know is interested in playing wheelchair sports or if you have any questions, please email MVADA at mv...@ymail.com. A participant does not have to be in a wheelchair full time in order to participate.

Please feel free to pass this information on to whomever you feel may benefit.

Thank you for your time.
