I'm still new to the Google Groups, in a few words can you explain how I can post a NEW topic or guide me where I can do this.  Thank you for your help on this matter.

Ken, I’m on the team of moderators for the group, so I’ll respond to your question about the group – it’s time for a refresher for anyone else who wants to know how this forum works.

Welcome to the group! It looks like you’ve found the big red New Post button on the Google page. Also note that you can post via e-mail – see the notices at the bottom of most forum postings.

All new members are in Moderated status. This just means we don’t know who people are, so messages are checked manually for abuse before being approved for distribution.  There is no evaluation of content here, we’re just here to keep out spam, porn, and other abuse.

Once a member has been recognized, we set the membership for un-moderated posting.  When moderated, messages wait in a queue until one of us can see it. This can take minutes or hours. Un-moderated postings go to everyone immediately.

So please continue to post as you have, create a new thread for new topics as it seems reasonable, and please expect some delay from the time you post until the time your content is available to the group.

If you (anyone reading this) wish to request un-moderated access, please e-mail me from a company email account that we can verify, or some non-anonymous account other than Gmail, Hotmail, etc..

Hello Tony,

Thank you for the info.  I did Post a NEW message.  How do I check if it was actually posted and to check feed backs on it?

If you're using your browser just re-visit the topics page until you see it. Perhaps I misunderstood your question. Remember, it could take minutes or hours for someone to approve it. We have 8 managers but there will be odd times when no one is checking e-mail at some given time.

Your best option might be to subscribe for the email feed and simply ignore the browser interface altogether.
