I got tired of grepping through the D3 PDFs and Rocket's slow site for every little command, so I built my own reference: d3codex.com. Decent fast search, plus a few tools I kept wanting (an Annotator that does some real time linting too). Mostly built it for myself after the MV conference, inspired by a conversation with Nivethan, but figured someone here might get some use out of it as well. Let me know if anything looks off.

Agree, much better. And since Rocket redid their D3 Docs it was a nightmare to navigate.

Thank you

Very handy! and there's a syntax checker and OCONV tool that works right in the browser!

Interesting and nice.  I entered the following code into the Linter and was told various parts were "used before it is given a value."  e.g...

$INCLUDE MYBP,INCLUDES FILE$CUSTOMER

...reported warnings for "MYBP", "INCLUDES", and "FILE$CUSTOMER".  They were only warnings though.

Very well done!

Sadly, SELECT is missing what options it supports.

Oh SELECT is absolutely there, but while it shows it can have options on
the command line, it doesn't list what they are. Rocket's PDF has the
same problem.

tnx.

I wasn't expecting that!  Brilliant!

Maybe include which version of D3 the reference applies to? I.e. Is this for D3 10.4?

Next up, jBASE and QM 😉

Bill,

$INCLUDE and other compiler directives ($INSERT, $DEFINE, $IFDEF, ... ) should no longer come up as false warning.

$INCLUDE MYBP,INCLUDES FILE$CUSTOMER
...reported warnings for "MYBP", "INCLUDES", and "FILE$CUSTOMER".  They were only warnings though.

thanks
Sam
