2024-12-23: SD Version 8.2 available

This minor point release includes some changes to the system C and Basic code to better support the SD default terminal size of 120x36.  Also some changes were made to the install and uninstall scripts.

Version 9.0 is on the horizon.  It will include some additional documentation, some changes to file permissions to enhance security, some improvements to account management programs and additional embedded python documentation and examples.

To download, install git and then enter this command.

git clone -b main https://github.com/stringdatabase/sdb64

The sdb64 directory will be created under your home directory if you execute the script from your home directory.  Otherwise the sdb64 directory will be created under your current directory.  cd to the sdb64 directory and then run either the Fedora or Ubuntu script.

This version has been tested on Fedora 41, Mint 22, Ubuntu 22.04 and Debian 12.  It should also work on Ubuntu 22.04 and Fedora 40.  For a very light system, install Debian 12 without a display manager.
