I am a U2/Universe, Pick, platform developer with 30 years of Multivalue experience in the industry. I have experienced all phases of the business from coding, development, analysis, project leader, support specialist, and even IT Director. I've worked on or developed just about every kind of application possible, and I am willing to take on new challenges.

I am currently residing in New Jersey and seeking work either Local or Remote as a senior Universe/Multivalue Developer.

Below are some of my qualifications.

 Duties: Develop in-house applications to facilitate the business of manufacture and distribution. Collaborate with management and staff in designing systems using Pick/Universe, Visual Basic, Universe/UniObjects, TSQL, and Unix Shell Scripts. Develop ways to bring greater efficiency to all departments at the local office and the company’s remote manufacturing/Distribution facility.  Briefly, some of my accomplishments include:

·         Responsible for all O/S’s Servers running Universe.

·         Develop an application Monitor to run in the background and perform automated tasks for Accounting, Manufacturing, Billing, Distribution and other business modules and O/S tasks on a 24/7 basis.

·         Automate numerous accounting reports that were previously done manually passing data from Universe to excel sheets and emailed to users.

·         Designed and Developed Physical Inventory Tracking System with reporting modules for  Manufacturing and distribution needs.

·         Developed Automated process to capture the weight  being packed to Cases, Printed & applied a barcoded label to Case and updated inventory and storage location in the warehouse.

·         Designed and developed an in-house COLD storage solution routine to capture spooler jobs from A/P, A/R, Inventory, Sales & G/L and store on Network.

·         Developed a unique emailing system from UniVerse to email Reports requested to various Users via AIX/Linux email or MS Outlook MAPI.

·         Developed Automated Visual Basic with UniObjects processes to read SQL data tables and Update a Universe Database & FTP shipments to customers.

·         Designed and Developed system to automatically receive EDI (X12) records, collect and analyze Bills of lading and Invoice data from various Suppliers, match them, and post to inventory and Accounts payable automatically.

·         Process all billing data by the day’s end and transmit it to FACTORS to send us payment using secure WSFTP communications scripting software.

·         Developed via Visual Basic, UniObjects & Universe BASIC SQL Client Interface, an automated process to import EDI (X12) from Universe & excel spreadsheets directly to SQL Sage 100 SQL database.

·         Maintain and Modify Crystal Reports on SAGE 100.

·         Responsible for Installing AIX and Universe, keep up with upgrades ON AIX and Universe and migrating from AIX to Red Hat Linux.
