MV apps and Web2.0

I was going to post a note here, but because it's rather long
(and I _am_ trying to get away from long forum postings) I
decided to blog it instead.

In summary, I need accounting software for modern apps. MV apps
are well suited to being used by modern web applications but MV
people just don't seem to see those connections. Those who do see
the connections aren't sure about how to get from here to there.
Over time I've been blogging a sort of road map for that process.
