I have been looking for work in the UK for quite a while now. My main source has generally been jobserve dot com but there haven't been very many listings for mv developers there lately. Is there another site you would recommend? Btw, I am registered with prospectus and also check pickjobs dot net.

Is it just pick or any other MV flavours or any other skills (e.g. .net java etc)

Prospectus is the main mvdbms site I think.  If other skills then totaljobs and monster have a lot.

My search criteria includes "Pick or Universe or Unidata or Reality or mvBase or jBase or QM" - and I have experience with all of those except QM (which I figure is not too far removed from the others) along with several development environments like Visage and older 4GLs. I have development experience and/or knowledge of Javascript (dynamic HTML), VB6, Java, etc., but I don't see the point in searching for those particularly as the only real involvement I have had with SQL/Oracle (which is what most of those vacancies require) is via jBase's jEDI drivers. Searching for "Reality" tends to turn up mostly positions related to Northgate's HR product; "QM" turns up mostly SAP QM; and "Universe" invariably finds Business Objects vacancies. Where the search does uncover mv-related vacancies there is often a jigsaw piece missing from my CV, as I have never worked specifically with SB+ or .Net, for example. Thanks for pointing me to Totaljobs and Monster. I have bookmarked them also.

I did a Monster.com search with these criteria and one of the postings I saw was for a Pediatric Dentist. That's always been a problem searching Google for Pick or Universe. Oh well, you just have to separate the wheat from the chaff.

BTW, even if pieces are missing from your CV, apply anyway. The requirements may be negotiable.
