The "new" Google Groups interface has been available for quite some time, but I've stuck to the old one, mostly because I like the treeview navigation option that the new interface doesn't offer.  However, the new interface does have some nice features, such as the ability to create rich text messages.

I'm just wondering if many of you are using the new interface.  If you've not tried it, when viewing the group in a browser, there is an option on the right side of the page to View this group in the new Google Groups.

For fun, I've decided to use the rich editor to add some formatting and colour to this message.

Kevin,

I started using the new interface awhile back.  Hated it at first, but then I hate all new things at first.  I've gotten used to it and prefer it now.  Every once in awhile, the browser will lose its mind and forget my preference and I'll have to change it back again.

I have been using it for a while. I thought it would grow on me, but I will say that I still do not like it that much. The prior interface wasn't great either, so I do have any need to switch back. I am sure it has advantages.

Switching from nntp to a google group will have advantages, recognizing that those of you who were using newsreaders will have more of a change than others of us who were using the groups interface anyway.

I have tried out the new interface only once. I just prefer to stick
with this one.

I'm with Eugene - tried the new one once and don't plan to use it
again unless/until it's improved.

I'm using the new interface, and it has a tree view.
Don't know how it compares to the old tree view.
