City guideline for new development

The only guideline for new development related to water efficiency is on landscaping, which is reviewed for permitting.

These are guidelines not policy.  There is no ordinance.  However, the city expects that the state will be pushing much tougher water conservation requirements for new developments and pushing for cities to develop ordinances.

Hello Marn Yee and all,
 
Attached is the research paper relating to water issues, which I promised to send you.
Since Steve said that he teaches a sustainability class at Stanford, perhaps he could draw upon the help of experts from there and use some of the info for the framework of the report. I outlined in red some parts that need to be added and updating.
