Hi Sheela:

Yes, I certainly agree with you, and thanks for providing the photo
and background info. I'm copying a couple of City staff members who
might be able to assist with taking this up with the business, and
advising if there are existing regulations prohibiting such disposal
or, if not, if such regulations can be considered. Something could
potentially be worked into the County's Green Business Certification
Program as well.

I just called Gold Star and asked them about the foam, if it was intended to go to the landfill. I was told by the person who answered the phone that the seller of the foam has already picked it up. She did not know if it was going to be recycled.
