This is what I sent top Patty Rosewater yesterday.  Except for San Jose, Palo Alto, Los Gatos and one or two additional sentences from Mountain View, not much else has changed.

Hi All,

As was mentioned at today s TAC meeting, the RWRC would like an update on what is happening in your jurisdiction with regard to single-use carryout bags.  I am attaching an updated matrix.  Please look at your city/town and update it if need be and return to me by close of business Tuesday, October 13.

Secondly, I have attached a list of potential projects/emerging issues to recommend that the RWRC begin to look at over the next two years.  The Chair  suggested that the RWRC take on one issue at a time over four meetings  two meetings devoted to study sessions, followed by a general recommendation at the third meeting and finally a public hearing for the fourth meeting.  Please remember this is just a suggestion and will be more thoroughly discussed by Commissioners at the October 26 meeting.  If you would like to add something to the list, please do so and return to me by close of business Tuesday, October 13.

Finally, I was asked to query the Commissioners about starting the October 26 meeting at 4:15 in order to accommodate a Commissioner who needs to be in a study session with their Council that night.  As of this afternoon, Cat Tucker, Evan Low, Peter Drekmeier, Jamie McLeod and Kansen Chu have agreed to the earlier meeting time.

Thank you,

Lisa
