Hello Elliott:

This idea looks great (http://velocitycabs.com)/! Fyi, number of
people in Mountain View are seriously interested in closing off part
or all of Castro Street to automobile traffic (has come up repeatedly
in general plan update community meetings), and I've mentioned, half
in jest, that "rickshaw service" along the closed street would be
great. I understand that some in Palo Alto are interested in closing
University Avenue in much the same way. I just wanted to let you know
about these rumblings, and maybe there could be a tie-in between your
business and closed business-district streets transport in one or
more of our local cities.
