to Sustainable Quality of Life
I have uploaded (into files) the drafts of the two recommendations
that I am working on, namely Family planning and Overconsumption.
Neither is in its final state, but I hope they will do for now.

I have also sent the family planning one to Cynthia K for some
comment and will take those comments (plus others that anyone else in
the group may have), into consideration when revising. This afternoon
I spoke with the director of the educational program for pregnant
teenagers that was featured in this week's Mountain View voice and she
indicated that there may be a need for sex education in intermediate
schools- and this is something that I hope to hear more about next
week, and to include in the recommendation if it seems appropriate. I
will also be showing this recommendation to people at Planned
Parenthood-because I offered to do that when I met with them in
April.

On the Overconsumption recommendation- this is based on a suggestion
my husband made when we were talking over dinner the other night- tell
me whether you think it is useful or not. A couple of things that
aren't in there yet- the timeline is short-term, ongoing, and an
additional possible partnership is with Sustainable Mountain View.
This potential partnership, like the others that I have listed, has
not been confirmed with people in the organisations referred to- they
are just possibilities that have occurred to me that will require
further exploration and the making of contacts.

I am sending these now so as to have them in before Nacho's going
away. I do hope you have a good trip. I should also add that I haven't
received an email inviting me to make additions to the 'power-point'
like file that we plan to build. That is fine, as long as either Mark
or John have access to it so that we can edit it when the three of us
meet on June 5.

That's all for now
Jennifer
