Hello all:
I'm hoping to write something up for the upcoming Palo Alto Daily News
Bay Area Green about the Mountain View Environmental Sustainability
Task Force. I'd like to include some short quotes from various members
of the task force. You can, for example, say something brief about
your experiences working on the task force, your hopes for the impact
of the report, why you think this work is important, etc. I'll try to
include them all and write the article to what you've said (rather
than the other way around).
Thanks very much for any material you can provide, and I'll need to
receive submissions from you no later than next Sunday morning,
September 7th.
Thanks!

My pearl:

"Being part of this official body makes you learn how important the community is, how effective is to speak out loud, and that concepts such as stewardship, leadership, and sustainability are real, and we can do our best to promote a better world and protect the environment for those 7 generations. If everyone does a little, could mean a lot for the humankind."

It's been a great opportunity to see an example of good government in
action. It's also been an opportunity to meet and interact with people
from many different backgrounds and see that our differences do
actually make us stronger.
