Hi,

I'd like to invite the WG4 (Energy) team members to meet at my house
at 833 Bush at 7PM Thursday to prioritize our list of 10
recommendations. We'll also discuss the remaining steps and timetable
for our WG's portion of the Task Force's work.

If you can't make it, you can vote by e-mail. Please rank the
recommendations below from 1 (most important) to 10 (least important)
with NO TIES and NO WRITE-INs. As you prioritize, ask yourself: "If
the City Council is only going to implement ONE recommendation from
this list, which one should it be?"

A. The City should set renewable energy goals
B. The City should educate residents about the benefits of renewable
energy
C. The City should provide free energy audits
D. The City should sign up for PG&E’s ClimateSmart program
E. The City should promote enrollment in PG&E’s ClimateSmart program
F. The City should install solar on City property and encourage
schools to do the same
G. The City should encourage participation in Demand Response programs
H. The City should encourage property owners to undertake energy-
efficiency upgrades
I. The City should implement a pilot program to provide solar PV for
affordable apartments
J. The City should promote solar water heating

Cheers,
Bruce

Thanks very much, James!  Your ballot will be counted (and not by a member of the Bush family, even though the meeting is on Bush St.).

Cheers,
Bruce

In F, please clarify "solar". Does this mean "PV", or (you could say)
"solar (PV)"? Or if it includes solar water heating, please say "PV and
solar hot water heating".
