Hi Yvonne, Randy, All,

I wanted to give you a heads up about an item we've added to the 4/28
meeting agenda, # 5.6. I'll be sending out the agenda for that meeting
later today.

Per the 3/25/08 city council meeting, the council referred
consideration of a LEED standard for City facilities to the Task Force
for a recommendation. Per item 5.6, we will be recommending that the
Task Force refer this to the Built Environment working group.

The minutes for the 3/25 meeting are not yet available, but I will
forward them as soon as they are, just so you have the official
record.

Over the next few days I will upload several documents (to your site
here) related to green building policies in various cities, and
related to the 3/25 meeting. I think you'll find these very useful in
getting a sense of what other cities are doing in this regard, so you
can frame your recommendation to the council.

I'm happy to discuss this with you if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Steve

Hi again,

One other item to clarify.

If you look in the Files part of your site, I've uploaded a file
called "Green Building Standards Council Rpt - 3-25-08.pdf." At the
top of this document there are 3 recommendations. The council approved
the first two, but referred the third to the Task Force, hence my last
email.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Steve
