Council Study Session and Reception next Tues.

The City Council will hold a short (planned one half hour) study session on the ESTF report in the council chambers in City Hall starting at 6 PM, followed by a reception to which everyone who was involved in producting the report is invited. The study session will consist of a 10 minute statement by Bruce Karney, summarizing the ESTF's work, and 3 minute statements from each of the WG chairs, summarizing their WG's work. The reception will be held in the rotunda of City Hall. Food and drink will be provided.

I'd encourage everyone who can make it to come to the study session and the reception. While this will likely not be the last event associated with the report, since the City Council will be considering over the next year how to translate it into policy and may need some additional input, it is an opportunity to celebrate the monumental achievment of the report's publishing.
