================
Justine's first draft showed two sets of possible targets for CO2e reductions.
We agreed that the targets should be the higher numbers (i.e. the larger reductions).
Justine will add a paragraph noting that the 80% goal
is mostly compressed into 2020-2050, so in the future
we're going to have to do a lot more after 2020 than
we're doing before 2020.
Sectoral goals may wind up in an appendix. Alternatively,
we may want to wait until the different groups have given us
some idea of what they think they can reduce by.
Justine will send our % recommendations to SteveA and ask him
to send to all the other groups to see whether they think the
goals are reasonable.
Greg: Send the LEED recommendation to another group (land use).
Greg: See if another group (e.g. outreach/ education) wants to take the idea
about a local fund. If not, we could keep this recommendation
in the baseline committee.
James: Add a carbon calculator page.
Mark's air travel: too long. Some content should go into appendix.
James would like us to measure Moffett Field's emissions and will
send me a paragraph.
Look for how much is personal and how much is business and put that
in if I find it.
Remove contagious disease reference.
Put the numbers up front.
Convert from pounds to metric tons.
Double-check the numbers; now air travel looks a bit too small.
Shorten and footnote.
CO2e measurement and No illusions/moving and intervals and
general methodology: merge.
"Instructions to the city staff on how we think the measurements
should be done."
Change interval to match Justine's (4 years).
James will send a paragaph to add.
Bullet point.
Sectoral goals:
Greg: Mike's recommendation about PG&E bill detail.
