I recently came across the concept of adaptation to climate change on
another group and found it quite interesting. I once read an
architecture book that talked about 100% sustainable domed towns were
people would live under a huge glass dome. I found the concept
interesting and wonder if it might be a way of adapting to the coming
climate changes. I guess a dome would protect from UV rays, extreme
winds (if built strong enough), acid rain, etc. I wonder if the
technology exists for this already.
In any case, I hope that the attitude of adaptation does not relieve
people from the responsibility we all have to change our eco-
destroying habits we have developed over the last 200 years or so.
In any case, I have blog where I talk more about climate change the
"green" movement. Feel free to check it out and leave any comments if
you want.
