Hi guys,
Whilst its only the first week of Semester1, 2011 is shaping up to be a big year, following is a brief over view of some coming events but, first things first.
I would like to wish a big welcome to all of our new memebers, it was great to see so many of you turn up to free ski day on Saturday. With 40 people showing up it was a very hectic day but great fun none the less.
To members who have renewed your membership, welcome back.
To those of you who wish to renew yor membership but have not yet had the chance, we will be at club day tomorrow (Tuesday 1-3-11). If you are unable to make it please let me know and we can arrange a time to meet up. The mailing list will be updated this week so if you do not renew your membership, you will cease to get info about trips and upcoming social events.
For those of you who are keen to get out on the water, Lisa will be running a trip to Hazelwood this saturday (5-3-2011). We will be meeting at the boat shed and leaving at 8am. To reserve your spot on this trip please contact Lisa ph:0413 582 051, you can also message her via facebook or email her at lisaj...@hotmail.com. Please note that this trip will be strictly capped at 15 members so get in early.
Over the Labour day long weekend (not a Uni holiday, sadly) The Moomba Masters Duck Tour will run - for more infromation on this please check out the facebook page http://www.facebook.com/update_security_info.php?wizard=1#!/event.php?eid=184728251560093 or search for Moomba Masters Duck Tour 2011.
The next big event wil be new members camp. This will run on the last weekend of March (Frid 25th- 27th) and is selling out fast! There are less than 10 spots available so if youy are eager to come along, come and put a $50 deposit down tomorrow. This event WILL SELL OUT and we cannot guarantee you a spot untill you have paid a deposit.
We have also confirmed a dat for this year's ball, Saturday May 28th - more details to follow in the coming months.
