Hi there,

I am trying to upload a file for a batch name check, but I keep getting the error "Could not parse input file, please check your file format." I read through the help information and cannot tell what is wrong. It is an excel file with variants listed in a column on different rows in this format:

NM_000038.6(APC):c.3523C>T
NM_000051.3(ATM):c.7327C>T
NM_001351834.2(ATM):c.3245_3247delinsTGAT
NM_000051.4(ATM):c.170G>A
NM_007294.4(BRCA1):c.4986+6T>C
NM_007294.4(BRCA1):c.2681_2682del
NM_007294.4(BRCA1):c.2475del
NM_007294.4(BRCA1):c.2433del
NM_000059.3(BRCA2):c.3264dupT

Any help appreciated!

Thank you,
Laura

Dear Laura,

Thank you for using Mutalyzer.

Excel files are supported in the current version of Mutalyzer, but we will drop
this functionality in an upcoming version because of compatibility issues.

Could you try to save the table as a plain text file and use this in the batch
checker?

With kind regards,
Jeroen.
