Donation to HeNNA from MUSN

Dear MUSN members,

If you still remember, we had organized a fundraising show a long time back, but could raise only a small amount. $306.60 of the collected money was still sitting in the bank. Raju Shitoula and I had a discussion regarding money and have decided to donate this money to HeNNA on their fundraising dinner day - 31 July, 2010. The fund raised from this dinner will be donated to Achyut Cancer Trust and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.

Though we could not do much for healthcare of elderly people, for whom the fund was raised, we believe that this is an appropriate use of the fund. Please let us know if you have any other idea, otherwise we will be going ahead for this donation.

The bank account for MUSN charity has already been closed now.
