AMS-Announce subscribers can find full information for instructions on posting messages, setting the subscription to vacation mode, changing or canceling the subscription, signing up for RSS feed, and all other details regarding AMS-Announce, at www.ams-net.org/announce.php .
The complete guidelines for announcements appearing at AMS-Announce are found in detail at www.ams-net.org/announce.php . Please note the rubrics concerning length, frequency, and repetition of announcements. We try to keep the list "lean," and do not send long messages, nor frequent reminders. Six weeks is the minimum time allotted for "reminder" announcements.
The American Musicological Society provides AMS-Announce through the efforts of the office staff, and also through the support of Bowdoin College, who hosts the list. It is open to all at no charge.
AMS-Announce is part of an array of free resources provided by the AMS, including:
* Doctoral Dissertations in Musicology
* New Books in Musicology (RSS)
* Musicology in the News (RSS)
* E-text AMS publications
* AMS Newsletters
* AMS Annual Meeting Program and Abstracts Books
If you benefit from AMS resources but are not an AMS member, we hope you'll demonstrate your commitment to the discipline and support for the AMS by joining the Society. See www.ams-net.org/application.php for full details.
Sincerely,
Bob Judd
