The Edward Aldwell Center in Jerusalem is pleased to announce the International Chopin Symposium and Festival, to be held January 3-7, 2010, at the Conservatory of the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, Navon Hall. A faculty of leading experts, John Rink, Carl Schachter, Assaf Zohar, William Rothstein, Halina Goldberg, Eytan Agmon, Alexander Tamir, Roger Kamien, and Andrzej Jasi ski, will conduct five days of lectures, workshops, and master classes, focusing on the music of Chopin to mark the 200th anniversary of his birth. Opening Address: Murray Perahia.
