The University of Music and Performing Arts Graz – Institute of Aesthetics of Music – is offering a position for a fully-funded PhD-studentship starting in the winter semester 2024 (1.10.2024). (A “University-Assistant” Position.) (Advisor of the Dissertation: Associate Professor Jennifer Ronyak, PhD.)

Contract: Position limited to 4 years. The employment contract needs to include the completion of an academic doctoral degree in the field of musicology.

Level of employment: Part-time, employment extent of 75 % of full-employment.

Salary: The minimum monthly gross salary for this position is at present 2,684.10 Euros (14 payments annually/ 37,557.40 Euros per year), based on § 26 of the collective agreement for university employees in the form of a part time contractual position with the extent of employment being 75 %. If need be, and on the basis of the collective agreement instructions, this amount could be increased through the crediting of specific prior experience.
