JOB: Journal of the Society for American Music, Media Review Editor

The Journal of the Society for American Music seeks a Media Review Editor, or two individuals wishing to serve as co-editors in this role. The editor(s) term is for 3 years, non-renewable. The position involves soliciting and editing media reviews, under the supervision of the journal's Editor-in-Chief. Media reviewed for JSAM include both multimedia and recorded sound that elicits major discussion and adds significantly to the literature or repertoire of music from across the Americas.

The first issue the Media Review Editor(s) would solicit for and edit would be vol. 17, no. 1 (February 2023). The new editor(s) will begin shadowing the current Media Editors in Summer, 2022 and start soliciting reviews at that time.
