Dean, College-Conservatory of Music
The University of Cincinnati seeks an innovative and dynamic leader to serve as dean of the College-Conservatory of Music (CCM). The dean will be an advocate for all areas of study within CCM which includes nearly 120 possible majors across more than 20 academic departments.
Founded in 1819, the University of Cincinnati ranks among the nation’s best urban public research universities. Reporting to Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost Valerio Ferme, the dean is the chief academic and administrative officer of the college-conservatory. The ideal candidate will be a fiscally responsible and visionary leader, with demonstrated commitment to academic excellence, who will work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, UC’s president, provost, and other deans to develop, refine, and enhance the college-conservatory’s role within the university and connection to the community at large.
