MA in Music, The Open University (part-time, distance learning)
The Open University’s part-time, distance-learning MA in Music is now open for registration. Designed to be completed over two years, this online course can be studied from anywhere in the world. The OU has been a leader in distance learning for more than 50 years. With course materials developed by a team of specialist music academics, the MA in Music provides a wide-ranging grounding in music research that also allows you to explore your own musical interests in greater depth. Students are supported by tutors who are subject specialists and experts in online education. Course fees for 2025-26 entry are £3950 per year for residents of the UK and the Republic of Ireland, and £6145 for students living elsewhere.
