ANNOUNCEMENT: New AMS Career Center

Dear Listserv Member,
I am delighted to announce that the Society has launched its new AMS Career Center, which will replace the AMS-Announce Listserv and Google Group. The Career Center is a hub for community announcements, calls, jobs, and other resources designed to help you advance your career in music studies, teaching and performance. The Career Center features:
- Calls for papers and manuscripts
- Calls for award nominations
- Conference information
- Graduate programs in music studies
- Job notices
- Promotional notices
Moreover, the Career Center makes it easier than ever to find professional opportunities. Searchable by keyword, location, category, and more, this new platform supports user accounts by AMS constituents. Create an account using the same email address that is associated with your AMS member or Listserv account and set up regular email alerts for the types of notices or announcements that interest you. You can configure alerts to be delivered daily, weekly, fortnightly, or monthly to your inbox.
Have you recently posted something to the AMS Announce Listserv and are wondering what will happen to it? Well, not to worry. As a gesture of convenience and appreciation, the AMS has automatically posted to the Career Center any Listserv announcements that were received in the last 30 days, free of charge. If you have future posts that conform to our "community posts" guidelines, you will also be able to post those free of charge. However, as part of the switch to the AMS Career Center, the Society will now charge for the posting of commercial announcements or notices of paid employment.
