The Melbourne Conservatorium of Music invites applications for a full-time continuing appointment in music (Musicology) at the rank of Lecturer. We seek a creative and collegial scholar-teacher with an established reputation in the scholarship of one historical period, as well as expertise in a secondary area. The appointee will be an enthusiastic musician capable of developing innovative curricula and articulating a vision for the discipline in the 21st century, as well as maintaining an active research profile and attracting high-quality students at honours, masters, and PhD level. 

You will have a PhD qualification in musicology, expertise in a secondary area, strong academic publication record in the relevant areas of specialisation, research strengths that provide evidence for the potential to attract research grants and supervision capacity in the field of musicology and demonstrated experience teaching at a University level.

Expected date of appointment is July 2019, or as negotiated.
