JOB: Institut für Musikwissenschaft und Interpretationsforschung, Vienna, Position in Historical Musicology (tenure-track)

Am Institut für Musikwissenschaft und Interpretationsforschung (IMI) der mdw – Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien ist voraussichtlich ab 1. Oktober 2023 eine Tenure-Track-Stelle für Historische Musikwissenschaft, mit besonderem Forschungsschwerpunkt auf Mobilität, (erzwungener) Migration und Kulturtransfer (inkl. Exil, Remigration etc.) gem. § 99 Abs 5 UG zu besetzen.

Die Arbeitsverhältnisse sind auf die Dauer von 6 Jahren befristet und bieten die Möglichkeit des Abschlusses einer Qualifizierungsvereinbarung. Nach erfolgreicher Erreichung der Qualifizierungsziele erfolgt die Überleitung auf eine Dauerstelle als assoziierte Professorin_assoziierter Professor.

At the Institut für Musikwissenschaft und Interpretationsforschung (IMI) of the MDW - University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, a tenure-track position for historical musicology, with a special research focus on mobility, (forced) migration and cultural transfer (incl. exile, remigration etc.). The position is expected to be filled from October 1, 2023 in accordance with Section 99 (5) UG.

The employment relationship is limited to a period of 6 years and offers the possibility of concluding a qualification agreement. After successfully achieving the qualification goals, the transfer to a permanent position as an Associate Professor takes place.
