The University of Toronto Faculty of Music seeks a two-year, full-time postdoctoral researcher in musicology with a specialization in nineteenth-century French lyric theatre (opera, operetta, ballet, féerie, etc.) for the academic years 2022–23 and 2023–24 to work alongside Prof. Sarah Gutsche-Miller. The successful candidate will conduct an active program of research resulting in the submission of proposals to research conferences, the submission of articles to academic journals, or participation in other scholarly projects; teach one course for the Faculty of Music in the second
year; deliver a colloquium to the faculty; and participate in other faculty activities.

Value and Duration: $60,000 per year ($52K salary plus $8K research expenses) for two years.
