Registration is now open for the hybrid Symposium “Rethinking Gustav Holst and his Music: A Symposium to Celebrate the 150th Anniversary of his Birth,” to be held at Utah State University on 18 and 19 October 2024. The event will feature a keynote lecture by Dr. Nalini Ghuman (Professor of Music, Northeastern University-Mills College), a festival concert of Holst’s music by the American Festival Chorus and Orchestra, as well as a full slate of papers and round tables about Holst and his music.
To register, please go to the Symposium website (https://gustavholst2024.wordpress.com/) and fill out the digital form found there. The website also includes further details of Symposium events and a full schedule.
This event is held in affiliation with the Royal Musical Association, whose generous support insured that all events are fully hybrid. The Caine College of the Arts at Utah State University provided substantial support to underwrite this Symposium.
