Use this sheet to practice reading black key notes in Express Stave piano notation.
Remember, white notes are played on the black keys.
First locate the centre twos, high and low twos, then the four groups of threes.
The twos have ‘small’ notes; the threes have ‘big’ notes.
This grand stave region encompasses 3 octaves of A to G (Frogs, Centre and Birds alphabets).
I snuck in some melodies you might recognise.
