Hi folks,
We are having a Zoom discussion about various things this Friday at 8pm.
If you are interested in joining and are NOT part of the Musick Notes email discussion, you will need to reply to this email, requesting the Zoom link. Your reply will go only to the list manager (me, Joel).
Efforts are underway to make the property safe after the Creek Fire. The work we did to reduce the fuel load really helped a lot on the Confluence property. Adjacent, the National Forest burned badly because of decades of miserably bad forest management and resource extraction (+ recreation) priorities. Winds and dry days with much higher temperatures were a big factor.
The Musick Creek Confluence Fiscal Year ended just before the fire. Here’s our 2nd Annual Report. It’s punchy and fun to read! Even the fired-up parts.
Parts 1, 2, 7 & 8 are really the main report parts to read as they changed a lot since last year.
