Hi dear folks far & wide!
The Musick Notes list is now active! (You can see that already.)
I half-sent two things in the past two weeks that I guess went to a hole in the digital universe instead of the new Musick Notes email list. They are below. I was so busy I didn’t get to trouble-shoot, even though I suspected these hadn’t gone out properly. Now you can actually read them! People on the Musick Discussion list have seen them already.
In them you will discover three not-so-hidden messages:
1) We took the first major step and have ownership of the property now! Wahhoooooo!
2) We only did it because of the wide community of supporters and participants, like you!
3) We raised enough in donations and loans and now we have to pay the loans back.
Tell people you adore they can join this list to get news and invitations about Musick Creek and the Musick Creek Confluence—our 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Joel, Musick convener
(…Another email coming shortly with people introductions)

> This is amazing! After years of imagining and hard work, we're days away from buying Musick Creek to preserve and celebrate, in perpetuity. Exceeding the usual confines of crowdfunding, your combined donations have reached $56,000. We also have $110,000 in loans from supporters, leaving just $4,000 to raise or borrow to pay the $170,000 purchase price.
