Thinkwalks project under Musick’s umbrella
• After a lackluster few months (& Joel unavailable to twist arms), we’ve begun to boost the fundraising again. Since we closed escrow (Nov 20, 2019), we’ve raised about $5,000 (about half of that in April).
• Four amazing people are currently donating on a regular, ongoing basis. Consider joining them in any amount, or zap in with a one-time contribution if you can. Next month (May) we owe $12k in repayment of one loan. We haven’t got it yet.
• We are clueless about the future of event restrictions. Our usual June 21 (Father’s Day) weekend campout is in doubt like everything. Set the date aside and we’ll see what kind of gathering we can have.
• If you want to play music live online as a fundraiser, let me know! I’ll pass the word to find if someone wants to help you organize it.
• The firebreak being created by the community of Shaver Lake crosses our land. Some of the hardest stuff on our parcels is done, but cleanup and mastication awaits better ground conditions. Also, 200 feet either side of the entry road (before the creek crossing) will get similar firebreak thinning treatment. (Thanks Jem for the info)

• The Prudential Committee and folks on the admin discussion list (which you may join if you like) are proposing to the Confluence board that we incorporate Thinkwalks under our nonprofit umbrella. Folks determined that it's compatible with our mission and helpful in attracting funds for Thinkwalks at a time when I (Joel) can’t do in-person Thinkwalks explorations. Thank you!
