Need Help for Changing sensitivity for whistle detection

Hi! I am new to Android Programming. I have detected the whistle. Now i need to change the sensitivity for whistle Detection. I have played with
numWhistles, whistleCheckLength, whistlePassScore variables but don,t understand which variable will actually change the sensitivity.
Can anyone help me which variable will reduce the sensitivity??
I want to add have options of low, medium, high , extra high.
