ACM Creativity & Cognition is a multi-disciplinary conference covering a broad range of topics. The conference brings together artists and scientists, designers, educators, and researchers. We seek to understand human creativity in its many manifestations, to design new interactive techniques and tools to augment and amplify human creativity, and to use computational media technologies to explore new creative processes and artifacts in all human endeavours ranging from the arts to science, from design to education.

Please see below and https://cc.acm.org/2026/ for call descriptions on each submission category.

**Call for Posters**

Poster submissions should highlight early-stage research outcomes and late-breaking work that show promise for maturing into future paper submissions. Topics of interest may broadly relate to the conference theme: Creativity for Change (see Call for Papers). This includes – but is not limited to – submissions across a range of categories that examine how interactive systems, design, and creative processes can foster positive change and respond to global challenges. Creativity will be the lens through which we view societal issues, showcasing how creative approaches can open up new possibilities.

Posters will be showcased at the conference during a dedicated poster-demo session. Authors will have the opportunity to discuss the work with conference attendees and receive feedback.

**Call for Demos**

We invite researchers and practitioners to submit demonstrations that explore the research themes of Creativity & Cognition, especially demonstrations focused on this year’s conference theme of Creativity for Change (see Call for Papers). This includes—but is not limited to—demonstrations of novel interfaces, systems, materials, devices, games, techno-craft, and other interactive experiences. Submissions should specifically describe how demos will invite participation from or otherwise engage the conference attendees.

Accepted submissions will be published in the ACM digital library. Demos will be showcased at the conference during a dedicated poster-demo session.
