Hi theater friends,
Gritty City Rep is doing a fundraiser. This youth repertory company that serves low-income artistic kids has been offered a spot as a resident theater company at the FLIGHT DECK, a brand new theater complex in Oakland. They are the only youth company invited to join, and they have 20 days to bring $10K to the table.
(How exciting is that, by the way? A shared, multi-disciplinary, performing arts center slated to open in Downtown Oakland this fall?!?!?!? http://www.theflightdeck.org/)
