The CLP (Country Liberal Party) romped it in at the last NT election following a ‘tough on crime’ campaign.

We now feel much safer by the knowledge that 10 year olds can be locked up and fitted with spithoods.

As of tomorrow, for approximately $50 we will be able to buy single use 45 ml pepper (capsicum oleoresin) spray cans. I don’t know how we have managed without.

 

Can’t wait for Northern Territory transit and public housing safety officers to be given quasi-policing powers and be equipped with guns on buses, in public housing and supermarkets. The CLP is planning to do so, and if their performance so far is anything to go by, it’ll come to pass. Please hurry.

 

I bet all you non-Territorians are jealous.
